📝 Farm Notes

Tomatoes are starting to ramp up, and it seems like the sparkly bird scare tape that blows in the wind is keeping the crows off of the slicers.

This week we got the next batch of lettuce transplanted. It will take a little while to start producing, though. Unfortunately I expect we will not have much lettuce for the couple of weeks because the heat a couple of weeks ago damaged most of the last round. We will have plenty of arugula, though, because it grows so fast and the replacement batch is almost ready. Kale is only a few days behind it. We also got the third round of green beans in. The first one is just finishing up and the second one is about 6 inches high.
